AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Resolute Center After School Program is designed to blend academic and physical activities in the most fun way possible. The program is geared towards children SK to grade 8. It provides just the right balance between a variety of physical activities and educational ones as we have the best-equipped facility in the Ottawa area. PROGRAM
Our after school program utilizes the 32,000 sq. ft. state of the art gymnastics facilities, Ninja Obstacle course, dance studio, LEGO studio, art and pottery studio, and a computer lab (for online homework), which enables us to provide:
- Time and space for kids to participate in diverse physical activities, allowing them to constructively release their pent up energy from sitting in class all day
- Encouragement and motivation to finish their homework and spend time reading; we will also supply extra worksheets if the school doesn’t have anything assigned
- Creative STEAM projects and activities to create a rich environment that keeps them continuously engaged
- A fun and safe environment to develop personal and interpersonal skills and make new friends!

PROGRAM FEES
The Resolute Center Afterschool program tuition is divided into monthly installments, due at the beginning of each month.
Tuition is $525.45 (including HST) a month. You can join the program any time of the year!
Day camp for all PD days for all school board schedules are included in the after school program. There is no childcare on statutory holidays, Winter (Christmas) holiday or March break. Please see the Camps page to view sample PD day itinerary.
SCHEDULE
Check out all the exciting plans and activities that our after school program has in place (activities are subject to change depending on weather and interests).
2:30 – 2:45pm Bus Drop off/School pick up: If the children are signed up for bus drop-off, an after school supervisor will meet them at their drop off location. If the children are not registered for transportation they can sign in at the front desk. For those who are within walking distance we can offer a walking school bus that will accompany them from school to the facility, please email us at afterschool@resolutecenter.ca for more info.
2:45 – 3:15pm Crafts & Fun Activities: Children will work on crafts, colouring, games, etc, at one of the stations set up in the afterschool room. There will be scheduled rotations to allow the kids to move between activities such as toys, board games, etc.
3:15 – 4:30pm Gym Based Activities: The children get to participate in all the specialized activities that our facility has to offier, including Gymnastics, Dance, Ninja Obstacle Course, Parkour.
4:30 – 5:15pm Homework/Enrichment: This time is dedicated to ensuring the kids complete school assigned homework. We also have a little library and reading corner full of English and French books where the kids are expected to spend time reading (or being read to!). French, English, and math worksheets that match their grade level may also be provided to complement what the children are learning in school.
5:15 – 5:45pm Games & Activities: Little activities and games will be set up within the after school room. These activities will include board games, group games, team challenges etc. The kids will have an opportunity to play and socialize.
5:45 – 6:00pm Clean Up/Pick Up: Children are responsible for cleaning up the after school room and getting ready for pick up. During this period, children will gather their things to get ready for pick up.
